LOG JAM Hitches Ride with Aardman

AWN reports that Studio Baestarts has found distribution with Aardman Rights for their show LOG JAM.  This will round out worldwide distribution for the show, since it has been picked up by Nickelodeon for the US and Canal+ for France.  Aardman Rights will provide LOG JAM to the rest of the world, and in this Aardman is expanding its portfolio to third party rights, not just it’s own material.

Sean Clarke, Head of Aardman Rights says: “LOG JAM is fun and irreverent and appeals to kids and adults of all ages. As Aardman Rights continues to expand its portfolio, we are delighted to add these new films to our own growing slate of in-house productions and hope to support Studio Baestarts in producing a lot more episodes of LOG JAM.”

LOG JAM is about a band of animal musicians who just want to make music, while it seems the whole world (at least a hunter and other animals in the forest) is out to get them.  The show was created by Alexei Alexeev to his award-winning short KJFG NO. 5.
