AWN reports that the award-winning animation studio, W!LDBRAIN, is opening an new location in Los Angeles. Headed by Chris Staples and Michelle Papandrew of FOSTER’S HOME FOR IMAGINARY FRIENDS fame, W!LDBRAIN of Sherman Oaks is now open and already taking on the companies growing pipeline.
“The accelerated growth of our own intellectual property production slate and our work-for-hire business led to our decision to expand the animation studios to Los Angeles,” said Marge Dean, General Manager, W!LDBRAIN Animation Studios. “There are a number of studios that are looking to produce 3D CGI television series based on their respective 3D animated box office hits. This creates a great opportunity for us to expand our future work-for-hire business as one of the few studios that has an experienced and tested CG pipeline for television.”
W!LDBRAIN’s work in flash, 3d, traditional, and game animation has made it one of the premiere work-for-hire studios in the business. Some of the companies most know work is the Esurance commercials, SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS, HIGGLYTOWN HEROS, and YO GABBA GABBA!
