Last Saturday, The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences hosted the Emmy Awards, and honored excellence in programs and individuals for the Creative Arts Emmys. AWN has a long list available here of all the winners in our animation/vfx industry. Those include
Winning in vfx was BATTLESTAR GALACTICA and in animation, episodes of THE SIMPSONS and SOUTH PARK, as well as juried individual awards for Ben Balistreri (FOSTER’S HOME FOR IMAGINARY FRIENDS) and Teresa Drilling (CREATURE COMFORTS AMERICA).
Other categories included: Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation, Outstanding Voice-Over Performance, Outstanding Costumes for a Variety/ Music Program or a Special, Outstanding Achievement in Engineering Development.
